Hosting through Cloudflare Pages

This website is served through Cloudflare Pages. The self-service provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare processes connection data such as IP address, time, requested URL and browser information to deliver pages and media and protect against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, with a legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation.

Where Cloudflare processes data on our behalf, its self-service terms provide for a Data Processing Addendum (DPA). For certain network data, Cloudflare acts as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

International data processing

Processing outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, is possible. For transfers without an applicable adequacy decision, Cloudflare’s DPA provides for EU standard contractual clauses and additional safeguards.

Hosting data retention

Cloudflare determines retention according to the processing purpose, security needs and legal obligations. Its privacy policy describes the retention criteria in more detail.

Local media and fonts

Fonts, images and short film previews are served with the website. No YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify or Instagram players are embedded on page load. Links open the providers’ own websites only when clicked; processing there is governed by the respective provider’s privacy policy.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is not enabled. This website loads no analytics script.

Cookies and local storage

The website’s own code does not set cookies or store visitor data in local storage. Language is selected through the URL. No advertising pixels are used.

If you contact me by email, your message and supplied contact details are processed to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual enquiries, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR with an interest in responding. Please provide only the information necessary for your enquiry.

The mailbox is operated through Purelymail, a service of Add Rabbit LLC, 502 W 7th St, Suite 100, Erie, PA 16502, USA. The provider processes messages and data required to operate email; processing in the United States is possible.
